PRAYER
It is important to start and finish each day with prayer. Prayer involves talking and communicating with God. It's worth noting that we can speak to God at any time and whenever we desire. 1Thessalonians 5:16 says: “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ”
READ THE BIBLE
The bible is the word of God. We should read and meditate on a bible passage daily. We would suggest that you start with the gospel of John as it tells us about the love of Jesus Christ towards us.
CHURCH ATTENDANCE
It's important to make attending church a priority and only miss if absolutely necessary. The Bible says, we should not neglect gathering with other believers. Church serves as a place where we can receive God's teachings and gain a deeper understanding of His Word, enabling us to realign ourselves and apply His teachings to our lives. A genuine church upholds the authority of the Bible and lives according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit as outlined in the New Testament.
WATER BAPTISM
Being baptised means being immersed in water, leaving the old sinful nature behind, and coming out of the water ‘new”. It is a public declaration that we are a child of God or outward evidence of an inward change. It means that we are free to follow the Holy Spirit and prioritize the Lord's teachings, without being held back by past mistakes.
BE A DISCIPLE
Being a disciple is a command from the Lord in the gospel of Matthew 28:19-21. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of age”.
Share the good news of Christ and your testimonies to help others find Him. Invite loved ones to church, pray for and help them, and show them Christ's love. Trust God for a fulfilling life with breakthroughs and victory.
